White marble tablet on a marbled background, with the school badge mounted centre top and adorned with angel wings. Two additional white marble tablets are mounted beneath the main memorial.
Inscription
Top of memorial - IN HONOURED MEMORY OF THE OLD BOYS OF ST LAWRENCE COLLEGE Above the names - WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919 Below the names - "NEVER HEROIC HEART WAS OFFERED IN VAIN." ERECTED BY THEIR SCHOOLFELLOWS. On second additional plaque - HERE ARE RECORDED THE NAMES OF 12 OLD LAWRENTIANS, WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR, BUT WHOSE SACRIFICE REMAINED UNKNOWN TO THEIR SCHOOL FOR 100 YEARS.
