Description
Ornate cross set on a three-stepped, octagonal base, surmounted by a square to octagonal sectioned transition plinth. The cross has a square-footed, octagonal sectioned tapering shaft and is a composite, gabled crucifix. Representations of Christ crucified, Mary and child and a knight in armour at the top. The skirted lower step incorporates a heavy overhanging platform-type top face. Gothic writing inscription in relief circumnavigates the waist of the lower step. The whole memorial is surrounded by a band of crazy-paving following the octagonal base contour. Dedicatory tablets are in the adjacent Church porch.
