- THIS TABLET/ WAS ERECTED IN MEMORY OF THOSE WHO WERE CONNECTED/ WITH THIS CHURCH AND SUNDAY SCHOOL, WHO HAZARDED THEIR LIVES/ FOR THE CAUSE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, LIBERTY AND FREEDOM,/ IN THE GREAT WAR OF AUGUST 1914 TO NOVEMBER 1918/ THE FIRST 13 NAMES HAVING PAID THE SUPREME SACRIFICE/ (NAMES)/This tablet came from Great Staughton Baptist Church.
