- Description
- Octagonal foundation platform constructed of brick and stone followed by an octagonal single-stepped granite base surmounted by a two-stage plinth and square-footed, octagonal sectioned shaft with an integral short-armed Latin cross. First (lower) stage of plinth is square sectioned with a moulded concave-curved top edge. Second stage of plinth is square sectioned, transposing into a bevel-edged octagonal top face. Pinned-lead text forms the respective war years and names on all plinth faces. The whole memorial stands on a raised, stone-faced and grassed road junction island.
