- Rectangular brass plaque, with the Devon Constabulary crest and motto at top-centre and an embossed rose at each corner, fixed to an oak backboard. (The quote included in the inscription, "There is but one task for all - one life for each to give. What stands if England fall? Who dies if England live?", is from Rudyard Kipling's For All We Have And Are).
