THIRD PART - WW2 NAMES ON BOARD SHELF. FINAL PART - INSCRIPTION. TOP PANEL HAS RAISED GOLD DECORATIONS OF HALF PALMETTES ON EACH SIDE WITH A SCROLL FLORIATE DESIGN SUPPORTING THE CENTRAL WREATH

K.C.M.G., who waa accompanied by Lady Fowke, unveiled the War Memorial which has been erected Penshurst Church to the memory of the fifty men belonging to the parish who died in the late war.

FOWKE. The Parish Church of St. John the Baptist, Penshurst, was crowded Sunday afternoon on the occasion of the unveiling and dedication of a monument in the nave, given as a memorial to those who died in the Great War by their fellow-parishioners.
