Description
A light grey marble rectangular memorial veined with darker grey marble. The lettering is incised and printed in a plain, bold, black typeface. There is no border nor is there any decoration. Reported as being in storage because broken. There is another pair of WW1 tablets - WMR #69811
Inscription
1914-1918/ TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY/ OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO DIED FOR/ THEIR COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR/ (names)./ THE VESTRIES AND ORGAN CHAMBER WERE ADDED/ TO THIS CHURCH A.D. 1920 AS A MEMORIAL TO THEM.
