- Description
- Pillar with a stepped-top and a carved wreath above. At the foot of the pillar are tablets with the dedication and WW1 names in black lettering. The 6 o'clock face of the base has the WW2 dedication and names and the whole is set on a tapering stone cairn.

- 6o'clock face: ERECTED IN PROUD AND HONOURED / MEMORY TO THE MEN FROM / BOAT OF GARTEN AND DISTRICT / WHO FOUGHT AND FELL IN THE GREAT WAR/1914-1919 / "THEY SHALL NOT GROW OLD AS WE THAT ARE / LEFT GROW OLD, AGE SHALL NOT WEARY / THEM, NOR THE YEARS CONDEMN.
