- Description
- Wooden triptych, with triangular pediment. The central panel contains a copper cross. The two side panels (which were originally doors of the triptych, but were later fixed as side panels) bear the names of the fallen in black lettering: those from World War 1 on the left panel and those from World War 2 on the right panel. Replacement tablet see WMR 55290.

- Memorial was refurbished from time to time, while outside the village hall, but continued to suffer from the elements. It was therefore removed from its place on the railings, refurbished and then installed within the hall.

- Bucks Herald 3/11/1917 (page 8) reported the dedication service at length. It mentioned that, when unveiled, it listed eleven names, but that a further known casualty (Gunner Archie Bowden) was to be added.
- Bucks Herald 17/11/1917 (page 2) mentioned that the triptych had been designed by architects Bodley and Hare.
