Description
Plain, limestone Celtic cross on a tapering shaft, on a tapering plinth which carries a cast bronze plaque bearing the names of the fallen of WW1, mounted on a four-step base, alternately octagonal- and square-sectioned, with a cast brass plaque bearing the names of the fallen of WW2 attached to the front of the upper step. The memorial is flanked by sandstone columns, which carry cast bronze plaques bearing the names of those who served in WW1, which are at the ends of a raised sandstone and flint parapet with central curved steps, enclosing a flint covered surround for the memorial.
