Description
VERY TALL CELTIC WHEEL CROSS ON MASSIVE TAPERING PLINTH AND TWO STEPPED BASE. The memorial is made of Portland stone. Three bronze plaques contain the 341 names of the fallen from WW1 - the names are inscribed on 3 panels with 4 columns of names on each panel. An additional three panels, with names in 5 columns, for the fallen in WW2 are inscribed in stone around the base of the memorial.
