ORNATE BRASS TABLET SURMOUNTED BY A CROSS. WHOLE IS SET INTO A MARBLE BASE WHICH IN TURN IS SET INTO THE WALL WITH STONE MOULDINGS AROUND IT. INCISED INSCRIPTION IN BLACK LETTERING ORNATE WHEEL CROSS AT THE TOP OF THE PLAQUE. BORDER AROUND THE EDGE OF THE PLAQUE A SHIELD AT THE BASE CORNERS. MINIATURE OFFICERS SWORD AND THE BADGE OF THE LIVERPOOL RIFLES IN RELIEF AT THE BASE OF THE PLAQUE
