Description
Wooden board with components as follows. Back panel with i) crucifix in centre, ii) "They shall not grow old..." quote beneath, and iii) at top, St Alban's cross in centre with arms of St Alban to one side and arms of the Bishop of London to the other. Four hinged panels attached to the back panel, two on each side. Panels inscribed with names as follows: left-hand outer panel - names of 19 WW2 civilian casualties; left-hand inner panel - names of 69 WW1 casualties (surnames A-J); right-hand inner panel - names of 70 WW1 casualties (surnames K-Y); right-hand outer panel - names of 21 WW2 HM Forces casualties.
