PARK & RIDE
Due to the high number of visitors to the Show, we strongly advise you to travel by public transport to avoid congestion.
Trumpington Park & Ride
A free courtesy bus runs from Trumpington Park & Ride at Junction 11 of the M11 from 8.30am and then every 30 minutes until approximately 1.30pm. Please do not board a courtesy bus without your valid (readable barcode), pre-purchased ticket as there are no tickets for sale on the door.
Buses will return to the Park & Ride at regular intervals from 3.30pm and then every 30 minutes, with the last bus leaving IWM Duxford at 6.30pm. Timings of buses may be affected by local road traffic congestion. There are limited parking spaces at Trumpington Park and Ride.
Babraham Park and Ride
As of 7 September 2019, there has been made available a limited number of Pre-booked off-site parking spaces at Babraham Park and Ride, Cambridge.
Pre-booked Babraham park and ride spaces for Saturday 21 September are now sold out. Sunday 22 September, Brabraham park and ride spaces are still available, these can be booked when you purchase your Standard Air Show tickets.
If you already have Battle of Britain Air Show 2019 tickets for Sunday 22 September, off-site parking at Babraham Park and Ride can be purchased separately here.

TRAVELLING BY CAR AND PARKING ON SITE
If you are travelling direct by car, IWM Duxford is located just south of Cambridge at Junction 10 of the M11 motorway. When you approach IWM Duxford please follow the temporary road signs rather than your sat nav. If travelling south on the M11 please do not head to junction 10 but instead follow the temporary signs. This will ensure traffic flows as freely as possible. Please make sure that you've booked and printed your parking permit. We cannot accommodate cars onsite without a pre-booked parking permit.
Saturday and Sunday Parking Permits are now sold out for Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show 2019.
During the period of the air show, a traffic management system will operate on the M11, A505 and at Junction 10 of the M11, to ensure traffic flows as freely as possible. We ask that visitors travelling south on the M11 take the alternative route, which will be signposted from Junction 11 of the M11, along the A10 to Royston and then east to the museum along the A505. For up-to-date traffic and travel information on the day keep an eye on the Highways England website.
Because the air show is so popular, there are different car parks available depending on the time you arrive, or where you are arriving from. Each car park is clearly signposted and staff will direct you to the closest entrance. Please ensure you display your parking permit on your windscreen as you arrive at the car park for staff to check, and keep it displayed clearly during your visit. Entry to our onsite parking will be refused if you do not have a valid, advanced parking permit. All cars are parked at owner's risk.
Ever thought about car sharing?
TRAVELLING BY MOTORBIKE
Motorbikes do not need a parking permit as they can be parked on a small amount of hard standing ground on site in our East car park – you'll be directed as you approach IWM Duxford. During the period of the air show, a traffic management system will operate on the M11, A505 and at Junction 10 of the M11, to ensure traffic flows as freely as possible. We recommend that visitors travelling south on the M11 take the alternative route, which will be signposted from Junction 11 of the M11, along the A10 to Royston and then east to the museum along the A505. For up-to-date traffic and travel information on the day keep an eye on the Highways England website.
TRAVELLING BY BICYCLE
Air Show visitors wishing to cycle to Duxford Air Shows will find bicycle racks at the main Museum entrance, next to the Visitor Centre.
