How to book a school visit
- All schools (UK and overseas) must book in advance.
- To start the booking process, please fill out the Schools Visit Request Form. You will be contacted within ten working days with a response to your booking request.
- Please avoid making travel arrangements until you have received a confirmation email with your Visit Confirmation Letter attached.
Each ticket purchased includes a free audio guide to help maximise your visit to HMS Belfast.

Payment for your school visit can be made in advance or on arrival. Further booking information is available on our Terms and Conditions page.
Please note children must be supervised at all times with at least one adult for every ten children. Large groups of more than 35 people may have to be divided.
HMS Belfast gift bags are available - these can be booked in advance for collection during your visit.

Accessibility and risk assessment at HMS Belfast
Two decks on HMS Belfast can be accessed on board without needing to climb up or down ladders. However, there are other areas below deck that may be unsuitable for those with restricted mobility, wheelchair users and prams. We have provisions in place for SEN students.

We encourage teachers to visit HMS Belfast to carry out pre-visit planning to help produce their risk assessments. Teachers can receive two free group leader pre-visit tickets by emailing: [email protected].
