Please take care to check you have selected the correct date and correct number of nights as once your order has been completed, payment cannot be refunded.

HMS Belfast: Damage Control! An Escape Room Adventure

HMS Belfast: Damage Control! runs on a strict schedule. Due to the time critical nature of the activity you will not be admitted if you are late.

All tickets are nonrefundable and non-transferable.

In order to ensure you are on time for your game, we strongly advise that you arrive at the entrance to HMS Belfast at least 30 minutes before the start of your game. This will allow time for your group to pass through bag check and ticket check, to board the ship and to make your way to the Game’s Meeting Point which is at the other end of the ship to where you will first board.

Your group must arrive together at the ship. You will not be able to board the ship separately.

Each group must be no more than 6 people. Additional people can form a separate group and book their own game, or can purchase general admission tickets for HMS Belfast.

Each group must include at least one adult (over 18). Groups without adult supervision will not be able to play the game.

Children under the age of 7 are not permitted.

Your group must assemble together at the Game’s Meeting Point 10 minutes before the start of your game. The meeting point is on the same deck you arrive on, at the other end of the ship.

You are welcome to arrive early and explore the ship ahead of your game. However you must make sure you identify the location of the meeting point, and leave time to make your way back there for your game. It is your responsibility to ensure your group is together at the meeting point 10 minutes before your allotted start time.

The game is 30 minutes long. We recommend you then leave at least an extra 90 minutes in your day to look around HMS Belfast.

Entrance to the game is via a ladder, and there is no alternative or accessible access due to the nature of the ship. Please visit our website for more information on accessibility at HMS Belfast: https://www.iwm.org.uk/visits/hmsbelfast/access

By understanding the nature of the activity, as outlined in the booking process and these terms and conditions, you declare yourself fit and able to take part.

Each group will be briefed at the start of the game by the Fire Repair Party Leader. After learning the rules, each attendee will participate at their own risk. IWM is not liable for any (personal or equipment) damages caused by not following the rules described before the game and via signage in the escape room.

Drinks and food may not be brought into the game.

All players must wear flat shoes.

Please note that large bags or suitcases are not permitted on board.

Gift Aid allows IWM to reclaim the tax back on the entire admission and donation price if you are a UK taxpayer, worth 25p for every £1 paid

To take part in the scheme you would pay a voluntary donation of at least 10% on top of the standard admission price, and provide a few personal details as specified by HMRC

By agreeing to Gift Aid, your admission entry fee becomes a donation in lieu of admission to IWM
