MKIAC is a national award winning organisation which has been operating in Milton Keynes (prompted by the 9/11 attacks since 2002) to connect communities, and bring people together through high quality shared arts experiences.

We work in a diverse range of locations across the city including, community centres, schools, galleries, libraries and museums. We deliver arts workshops, seminars and events inspired by Islamic arts and heritage.

MKIAC’s purpose is to promote social cohesion, education and training through engagement with and participation in the arts, culture and heritage with a particular focus on those who are young or at a social or economic disadvantage, with a view to developing people’s skills and helping them contribute to society.

MKIAC also delivers a large scale annual diverse community festival “Art in the Park “with over 19000 diverse visitors attending .
