Project Description

This was an exploration of the impact of the First World War in Goring and Streatley, two villages on either side of the Thames, the first in Oxfordshire and the other in West Berkshire. Considerable research by a small team resulted in two exhibitions, in 2014 and 2018, as well as a book. The project was funded by the Society.
