Project Description

A project that researched the impact of the First World War on this village in Hertfordshire. It culminated in an exhibition in the Wheathampstead Memorial Hall on the one hundredth anniversary of the end of the conflict in November 2018. The display was made up of more than thirty posters and attracted more than 1,200 visitors over the Remembrance weekend. The posters were subsequently displayed again on Village Day (14 July 2019) when they were viewed by more than five hundred people in one afternoon.
