Project Description
A re-enacted commemoration of the walking route taken by hundreds of horses and grooms, from Ormskirk Railway Station to Lathom Park Remount Depot, once the depot had opened in late 1914. The horses originated from the plains of North America, and were shipped over the Atlantic Ocean, before being unloaded at Liverpool Docks.
