Project Description

'Oxford at War 1914-1918' is a community collection bringing together over one hundred stories, pictures and objects related to Oxford during the period of the First World War. The material in the collection was shared by members of the public, University departments, colleges, clubs and societies, and others. The collection is based at the University of Oxford, as part of the Oxford World War One Centenary Programme with support from the van Houten Bequest. The website remains open for new contributions.
