Project Description
The project was funded by Heritage Lottery Wales to mark the sacrifices and contributions of the men and women of Newport (Monmouthshire) towards the work of the Mercantile Marine, Royal Navy and Home Front during the First World War. The outcome was 2 films, one in Welsh and one in English, produced with the involvement of 20 + pupils from two schools: Ysgol Gymraig Casnewydd and Pillgwenlly Primary School.
