Macclesfield Reflects

'Macclesfield Reflects' project members researched the history of the Macclesfield area during the early 1900s to discover the stories of those who lived or died during the Great War, thereby ensuring they are not forgotten. During the five years 2014-2019, many events and exhibitions took place that commemorated the Great War around the local area. Those who were named on local war memorials, alongside many other local people, were researched, with this information published on a website and in books.
