Project Description

Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, this project focused on telling the story of the First World War in the towns and villages of Inverclyde. The McLean Museum in Greenock held a special exhibition in 2014 that explored Inverclyde's contribution to the national war effort. Our project website contains extensive digital resources including a Roll of Honour that tells the stories of local men and women who served and died during the conflict.
