HE LANDED AT UTAH BEACH ON D-DAY +2./ HIS JOB WAS TO FOLLOW THE INFANTRY IN A MOBILE RADIO(Y) STATION AND INTERCEPT CODED MESSAGES IN THE FIELDOF BATTLE. HIS/ ASSIGNMENT ENDED IN LEIPZIG AT THE END OF THE WAR. WHEN RON/ REVISITED ENGLAND AND THE NORMANDY BEACHES IN 1997 HE LEARNED/ THAT HIS MESSAGES HAD BEEN SENT FOR DECODING AT BLETCHLEY PARK./ RONALD H. ALDERS 1923 - 2003/ TECHNICAL THIRD GRADE - NO. 39461741/ 3251ST SIGNAL SERVICE COMPANY/ 1ST ARMY, 7TH CORPS/ UNITED STATES ARMY.
