- Description
- Four-light stained glass window with tracery set into the West wall of the transept, with an accompany tablet below. The window depicts the Resurrection of Christ in the upper third light, with Saints and allegorical figures depicted in the remaining space - but with Angels holding scrolls bearing texts below the figure of Christ. In the bottom right of the fourth light is the family crest above the Dedication. The Saints depicted are George, Oswald, Louis of France, Edmund, Michael, and Martin. Other figures appear in the tracery above. The tablet below is in black marble tablet with inscription written in gold lettering. There is an equidistant flower design on the moulded border. In the upper left hand corner is the Egerton family crest.

- On the window: In praise of our Holy Redeemer triumphant/ over Death, and in memory of those descendants/ of Philip Egerton (1728-86) of Egerton and/ Oulton in this County, who laid down their lives in the War 1914 - 1918, this Window,/ and the Tablet beneath it, are dedicated. On the tablet: Giving thanks to God let us hold/ in honour the memory of all who/ served and died in the war 1914-1918/ Amongst whom are numbered those/ whose names are here recorded/ (Names)
