MENTE MANUQUE / To the Dear Memory of / Albert Julian Pell, J.P..D.L. / of Wilburton Manor / Captain and Hon: Major of the 4th Battn. The Suffolk Regt / (Cambridgeshire Militia) 1882 -1908. / ( ..... ) / During the Great War he was attached to the / General Staff and served as / Divisional Musketry Officer - Western Command. / He died in the Service of his Country / August 28. 1916 - Aged 52. / "A man greatly beloved."
