Description
A large kerbed plot with gravel infill and corner stones with a flower holder at centre. The rear kerbs have been deepened to form two separate tablets, and along with the outer face of the lower kerbstone have incised inscriptions.
Inscription
Left tablet: TO THE MEMORY OF/ HENRY A SHAW/ DIED 6TH MAY 1952 AGED 69 YEARS./ "FAREWELL IN HOPE AND LOVE,/ IN FAITH AND PEACE AND PRAYER./ TILL HE WHOSE HOME IS OURS ABOVE/ UNITE US THERE." Right tablet: TO THE MEMORY OF/ MARGARET A SHAW/ DIED 6TH AUGUST 1976 AGED 90 YEARS/ "RESTING WHERE NO SHADOWS FALL/ LOVED AND REMEMBERED BY US ALL." Bottom kerbstone: ALSO TO THE MEMORY OF F/SGT H.A.SHAW DIED 22ND JUNE 1944 AGED 21 YEARS./ [BURIED AT BERGIN-NORTH HOLLAND./ MAY HIS SACRIFICE HELP TO BRING THE PEACE AND FREEDOM FOR WHICH HE DIED.
