Description
A scroll set on a low stepped plinth and base, inscription in lead lettering on both scroll and base. It sits at the top of a large kerbed plot with ornate 'pie slice' corner stones and a gravel infill, there is a flower holder at centre.

Scroll: SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF/ RICHARD WILLIAM CHAPMAN/ WHO FELL ASLEEP 29TH APRIL 1940/ AGED 55 YEARS/ ALSO KATE CHAPMAN/ BELOVED WIFE OF THE ABOVE/ FELL ASLEEP 11TH NOVEMBER 1965/ AGED 83 YEARS/ RE-UNITED. Base: ALSO L/CPL ERIC CHAPMAN/ BELOVED SON OF THE ABOVE/ KILLED IN ACTION 14TH OCTOBER 1944 AGED 28 YEARS/ (INTERRED IN THE BRITISH CEMETERY AT MOOK, HOLLAND)
