Description
An upright memorial made of grey granite in three parts, the base plinth has rough sides with a further plinth on top with the name of Gillespie engraved in large lettering, the upper section of the memorial has rough sides and embossed lettering on the surface, the upper part of the memorial has a shouldered top and below this is an engraved Celtic style design which is interlocked.

IN MEMORY OF / ALEXANDER GILLESPIE / DIED 13th OCT. 1938 / AGED 59 YEARS, / HIS DAUGHTER / ELEANOR MARGARET, / DIED IN INFANCY, / HIS SON LAWRENCE, / PILOT OFFICER R.A.F. / KILLED ON ACTIVE SERVICE / 26th SEPT. 1943 AGED 23 YEARS / AND HIS WIFE / MARGARET HENDERSON / DIED 18th JAN. 1952 / AGED 74 YEARS / ALSO THEIR DAUGHTER / RUBY GILLESPIE / DIED 17th OCT. 1992 / AGED 76 YEARS / DEARLY BELOVED WIFE OF / EMLYN GEORGE WILLIAMS / DIED 22nd OCT. 2000 / AGED 85 YEARS.
