- Book with blue leather cover inside display case below associated tablet and clear leaded cruciform window. THE BOOK LISTS CIVILIANS CONNECTED WITH THE CHURCH WHO HAD ALSO BEEN COMMEMMORATED ON TABLETS BEFORE THE CHURCH WAS DESTROYED IN 1941. THE 71 NAMES FROM WW1 WERE PREVIOUSLY LISTED ON THE CHURCH'S MEMORIAL ORGAN AND TABLETS (our reference 9598). CAPTAIN PATON VC AND LIEUT-GENERAL GRIERSON ARE LISTED TWICE IN THE BOOK AS THEY HAD ALSO HAD THEIR OWN MEMORIALS.
