Description
Long evening gown with hundreds of home-knitted poppies applied to the body and train of the gown. It symbolises the loss to a whole community, especially to a generation of women who lost husbands, sons, fathers, brothers and grandsons, whose names are now remembered in the Memorial Hall (ref 24475).
