Description
A granite cross has a bronze plaque set in arms and shaft. The plaque is a horizontal composition showing Christ in the tomb, drapery hanging down into the shaft of the cross, with remainder of space filled by outstretched wings of angels stooping over head and feet of figure. The cross surmounts a granite plinth with bronze wreaths on the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock faces.
