Description
A square-framed Roll of Honour, with the EIIR Metropolitan Police crest at top-centre flanked by the dates 1939 and 1945. The names of Paddington Police Station's 14 officers who died either on active service or as a result of enemy action are listed on it in two columns. (N.B. An earlier memorial re the same casualties from Paddington Police Station was erected in 1946, see our reference 95061. As the whereabouts of that earlier plaque are unknown, this later memorial may perhaps have been made to replace it).

History
This memorial, commemorating the 14 casualties from Paddington Police Station, was made post-1953, as it bears the EIIR Police badge. (It therefore post-dates the an earlier plaque re the same 14 casualties that was erected in Paddington Station in 1946 - see our record 95061). Originally hung in Paddington Police Station, the framed Roll of Honour is now at Kilburn Police Station.
