Description
Oval bronze plaque with raised lettering. Plaque is inside carved wreath with enamel saltire of St Andrew in a roundel at the top. Plain rectangular WW2 board hangs beneath this plaque. Both are mounted on a large backboard with a pediment decorated with a heron, referring to the town's Gaelic name ('valley of the heron'). Union Jack and Cross of St. Andrew flags on either side of plaque.
