Their information records that: "PC Stephen Tibble QPM 26th February 1975 21 years old Metropolitan Police Off duty, PC Tibble was shot three times at point blank range by a terrorist on the run from detectives in Baron's Court, West London. He was posthumously awarded the Queen's Police Medal."
