Description
Ornate screen and canopy with a number of dedications. The main inscription and the names of those commemorated are made in red capital lettering on 5 white marble tablets with blue borders.

Main inscirption: ALL WHO WORSHIP AT THIS/ ALTER ARE ASKED TO REMEMBER/ BEFORE GOD:/ THE SOULS OF OUR BROTHERS OF/ THIS PARISH WHO IN THE GREAT/ WAR MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE/ IN DEFENSE OF THEIR COUNTRY AND/ WHOSE NAMES ARE APPENDED./ AND THE SOUL OF OUR LATE VICAR/ THE REV. CHARLES NELSON BOLTON/ PREBENDARY OF LICHFIELD/ CATHEDRAL FOR 23 YEARS/ VICAR OF THIS PARISH./ TO GOD'S GLORY AND THEIR/ LASTING MEMORY THIS ALTER/ HAS BEEN DEDICATED BY/ MANY PARISHIONERS AND FRIENDS./ (Names)/ TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN/ LOVING MEMORY OF/ RICHARD POWELL COOPER/ FIRST BARONET/ OF SHENSTONE COURT LICHFIELD/ DEPUTY LIEUTENANT FOR THE/ COUNTY OF STAFFORD/ WHO DIED 30TH JULY 1913/ AND OF/ ELIZABETH ANNE/ HIS WIFE/ WHO DIED 30TH JANUARY 1915/ THE REREDOS IS DEDICATED BY/ THEIR CHILDREN.
