- Description
- Illuminated Roll of Honour, with a stylised border that incorporates Allied Flags. At top-centre are two crossed Union Flags beneath a shield bearing emblems of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, which is flanked by images of front-line troops at Ypres on one side and a Navy ship and aircraft on the other. Beneath this section is a ribbon bearing the words "Roll of Honour", followed by the inscription and list of names of Leeds City Police officers from B Division who served in WW1, along with their collar numbers. Those who died have a red cross beside their name. The first letters of each name are in red ink; the remainder of the lettering is in black ink.

- The WW1 Roll of Honour of those who served in the Armed Forces in WW1 would originally have been framed and placed on display in the Leeds City Police B Division Headquarters. By the time it was deposited with West Yorkshire Archives Service in 1978, it was unframed.
