- History
- The Roll of Honour was originally framed and on display in Leeds City Police HQ. It was unframed by the time it was deposited with West Yorkshire Archives Service (under reference WYP/LE/A90/342) on 4/7/1980 by the Museums Officer, West Yorkshire Metropolitan Police, Headquarters, Laburnam Road, Wakefield. N.B. West Yorkshire Archives Service also hold a duplicate of this Roll of Honour (under reference WYL/LE/A72/164), which was deposited with them on 18/11/1978 by the Museums Officer of West Yorkshire Metropolitan Police. The existence of this known facsimile of the Roll of Honour implies that it is highly likely that a copy of it was originally on display in each of the five Divisional Headquarters.
