- Description
- Four rectangular plaques fixed to a brick wall, one bearing the commemorative inscription; the others bearing details of serving Police Officers of Hampshire Constabulary and all of its historic constituent Forces who are known to have died since 1847, including some Second World War civilian casualties. (N.B. The memorial is primarily a Roll of Honour of Hampshire Officers whose deaths have occurred in the line of Police duty/in Police service. Of the ones it records as having died in World War 2, only those who the Commonwealth War Graves Commission lists as Civilian War casualties are pertinent to the War Memorials Register).
