- Description
- The war memorial organ at St Mary’s Comberton was given to the church by the people of Comberton as a memorial to those who gave their lives during the Great War. A timber-mounted brass plaque on the adjacent wall carries a dedication inscription. The church stands on the highest ground in the village and is about half a mile from the crossroads that mark the village's intersection of Langley Green, Langley Road and Staithe Road in Langley.

- In 2016 War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £290 towards the undertaking of conservation works for the repair and replacement of fractured/missing tuning tongues and the retuning of the organ to ensure the memorial could continue in its original function.; All pipes were marked with SmartWater as part of In Memorium 2014 campaign.; 1963 Cedric Arnold Thaxted, Essex -plate on organ; new blower provided; Bourdon moved to Pedal and Pedals to Great , coupler provided; balanced Swell pedal; 1987 E.J. Johnson - Principal installed in place of Salicional; ; 2019 Norman Hall & Sons Cambridge cleaned and overhauled; front pipes re-painted to commemorate centenary of organ
