- Description
- Wall mounted, landscape oriented, wooden framed, finely detailed carved oak mural board with an inscription around the framework. At each corner is a square boss bearing images of a figure and three animals. Each depiction is enhanced with a scrolled Latin verse. The carved centrepiece is of an outstretch-winged angel with a trumpet held in a waist belt. In each outstretched hand, the angel holds a banner scroll bearing names of the Fallen. At the top of each panel is a symbolic design. At the angel's feet is a wreath within which, are displayed the duration years of the Great War.
