- Description
- A tree surrounded by a circular metal fence with a dedicatory tablet beneath. The tablet inscription is in the centre and either side at the top are figures of a soldier in Service Dress and Cap resting on arms reversed. The lettering and figures are incised and picked out in white.

- They shall not grow old,/ as we that are left grow old:/ Age shall not weary them,/ nor the years condemn./ At the going down of the sun/ and in the morning/ We will remember them./ This tree is planted in memory of/ the men and women who served in the Great War of 1914-1918/ Welton-by-Lincoln Parish Council 2014
