- Description
- Three light stained glass window depicting Christ blessing little children. His father was George Benjamin Armes, Vicar of Cleator from 1870 to 1905. His middle Christian name was the maiden name of his mother and he was born in 1874 so was aged 26 at death. His service number was 4833. The Church was comprehensively restored in 1900 to 1903, and the window was dedicated with the rest of the Church by the Bishop of Carlisle on 5 September 1903. The service record cites the cause of death more prosaically as Dysentry.
