- Description
- The memorial is a wooden board with ornate decoration divided into three sections - there were three memorials exactly the same commissioned by W.T. Henley's for each of their separate works - one in Gravesend, one in Woolwich and one in Barrow-in-Furness. (the location of the Woolwich and Barrow memorials is unknown, presumed lost). The memorial lists the names of all the employees of the company who died during WW1. These names are shown in chronological years starting in 1914 and ending 1918
