Condition
History
In 2014 War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £1,962 for repairs to the memorial. This consisted of raking out by hand and re-pointing defective joints using a hydraulic lime mortar. Defective sandstone sections, which had been extensively eroded by weather, were carefully cut out and replaced with a matching red Locharbiggs sandstone.
