- Description
- A plain wooden battlefield cross , the dedication on the cross member in raised carved lettering coloured gold . The lettering style is identical to that on another battlefield cross in this church which commemorates an officer who died on a different date and location . The lettering is unlike any other known examples indicating that this is a memorial not a grave marker.
