Description
Triptych in dark wood. With a gold coloured crucified Christ on the central panel. This has a carved border of plain leaves and berries. The doors have a plain frame with gold lettering and are each attached by two hinges. The memorial has an overhanging flat top.

Central panel:- Lower part obscured by a wreath. // Inside left door:- THE / SOUTH ASHFORD / MEN WHO DIED / WHILST ON SERVICE / IN THE / GREAT WAR / 1914 – 1919. / REQUISESCENT / IN PACE: / “We bless Thy / Holy Name for all / Thy servants Departed / this life in Thy / faith and fear.” / (23 Names) // Inside right door:- (38 Names) / Grant them, O / Lord, eternal rest. / and light perpetual / shine upon them. //
