History
Stirlingshire Constabulary's WW1 and WW2 war memorials were erected in their Victorian-age HQ at West Street, Falkirk. (In 1938 Stirling Burgh Police was absorbed into the Constabulary. In 1949 Stirlingshire and Clackmannanshire Constabularies merged to become Stirling and Clackmannan Constabulary; in 1975 that Constabulary was renamed Central Scotland Police, whose HQ was established at Randolphfield House). Before the former Police Station in West Street, Falkirk was demolished in 2003, the war memorials from that building were moved to Randolphfield House . (In 2013 Central Scotland Police became part of Police Scotland, and Randolphfield House became Stirling Police Office). Following the refurbishment of the foyer at Randolphfield House, the war memorials of Central Scotland Police's heritage forces, including Stirlingshire Constabulary, were brought together into one place, and the current display created.
