- Description
- The stone of remembrance stands 1.8m high and 1m wide. It depicts in relief at the top a three-pointed red star (the symbol of the International Brigades). The names of the six men who died are incised on separate lines down the left-hand side and painted black, and in the middle of the list in relief is a black clenched fist crushing a scorpion. A metal plaque on the back (black with gold lettering) gives more details.
